Lectures and workshops

I first started doing talks and workshops for the NSEAD, programme for teachers, which lead to a number of further collaborations and residencies.

My passion for the benefits of the arts grew and I sought to champion the worth of artists as innovators and creative thinkers. As the Chairman of BANA I co-designed an education programme 3x3x3 - 3 schools working with 3 artists in 3 settings. This evolved into 5x5x5 due to the demand from schools and has subsequently become 5x5x5=creativity.

Key subject areas are Painting, Abstraction, Curating, Creative Process, Negotiating Conflict

The creative process workshops are useful for team building, encouraging creative thinking and problem solving, investigating areas of conflict and examining decision making. The workshops are adapted to match the organisation or groups needs. I have worked with all ages from 5 - 90, with individuals and groups of professionals, disabled, disadvantaged, schools, institutions, commercial companies and local government.

The workshops are practical and use a wide range of materials and processes including drawing, paint, print, photography, light, books, earth, furniture and video.
